A 3 goal third for Anaheim and a handful of posts extends Calgarys losing streak in Anaheim

Calgary went into Anaheim riding a 12 year, 20 game losing streak and extended that to 21 games after a 5-2 loss to the Ducks.

Calgary played an alright road game albeit for only 40 minutes. Flames went into the third only down one goal but a two quick goals in the first 5 minutes by Anaheim opened up the deficit. It also didn't help that Calgary hit 2-3 posts in the final frame.

Mikael Backlund scored late for Calgary but the damage was already done.

A couple bright spots for Calgary in my opinion were Sam Bennett, Brandon Bollig, Jakub Nakladal and Mark Giordano.
