The Calgary Flames visit the Anaheim Ducks in what I like to call the arena of doom. It’s been since 2004 – twelve years – since the Flames won their last game at the Honda Center in California. According to Mark Giordano on the Flames website, “if we can get this one in Anaheim, it goes a long way for momentum.” And momentum is exactly what the Calgary team needs right now. They finally broke a three game losing skid when they won their last home game against the Vancouver Canucks with a 5-2 win. Now they need to keep that win streak alive. Even though it won’t be easy, the Flames have energy and talent to do it.
