Gamethread: Calgary Flames Host Minnesota Wild

It's all bad news for the Flames today before their tilt against the Minnesota Wild tonight at the Saddledome.

Because the Flames haven’t had enough goalie problems this season, fate kicked them in the butt again. Karri Ramo is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL and meniscus damage, which will require surgery and 6-8 months healing time.

As well, it was announced that the commissioner of the NHL will uphold the Dennis Wideman suspension, which stands at 20 games. Wideman has already missed 7 games. Some are expecting him to file for independent arbitration now.

As for tonight’s game, Kris Russell is considered day-to-day with a minor lower body injury and he will not be in the lineup against the Minnesota Wild. Brandon Bollig and Lance Bouma are scratched for tonight’s game.

For tonight's projected lineup, check out the Flames website. But, remember, the lineups change ALL THE TIME.
