The Flames have recalled Joni Ortio

Karri Ramo left last night’s game in the third period and did not return. He was ruled out of Friday’s contest with the Arizona Coyotes.

The Flames recalled Joni Ortio from Stockton to take Ramo’s spot on Calgary’s roster. Ortio is 9-9 in 20 games with the Stockton Heat this season.

Ortio will team with Jonas Hiller between the pipes until Karri Ramo returns.
