Flames Recall Tyler Wotherspoon

In a strange twist of events, the Calgary Flames have called up defenceman Tyler Wotherspoon from the Stockton Heat and assigned defenceman Brett Kulak to the Heat.

The Surrey, BC native has 1 goal and 5 assists in 18 games playing with the Heat so far this season and the Flames 2nd round draft pick in 2011 has just 5 assists in 26 games for the Flames over the last three seasons.
