Minnesota Wild at Calgary Flames [Game 27]

Published

on

The Minnesota Wild are in town to take on the Calgary Flames. The last time the two squared off the slashed Johnny Gaudreau 21 times and broke his finger. This time things will probably escalate a little bit.

The Flames won three to nothing last game, so there are no lineup changes to speak of. Chad Johnson is in net after stopping 39 shots for Calgary last game and being one of the bigger surprised this season. Brett Kulak is still inexplicably missing from the line up despite being absolutely fantastic this season.

Devan Dubnyk is in net for the Wild. He's arguably been the best goalie in the league not named Carey Price, so Calgary will have their work cut out for them. They were out-attempted 57 to 42 against The Toronto Maple Leafs and that formula of laying and praying on the goalie is not a winning formula – they'll probably need to be better to pick up the victory.

Go Flames go!
