Chicago Blackhawks at Calgary Flames [Game 19]

A win streak and the season series against the Blackhawks is on the line.

Fresh off of victories against the Minnesota Wild and the Arizona Coyotes, the Calgary Flames are back at it again to take on the Chicago Blackhawks. Chad Johnson is in net as he’s played exceptionally well as of late. Allowing one goal in two games back-to-back will generally earn somebody another start.

Given the success, the roster isn’t changing. This means that Jyrki Jokipakka and Hunter Shinkaruk will still be scratched. With the exception of the line of Matthew Tkachuk, Mikael Backlund, and Michael Frolik, they’ll look to keep the pace down to minimize chances against.

This marks the last time the Flames play the Blackhawks this season. The series is split one all with the Blackhawks taking the last game earlier this month by a score of five to one. The Flames may not be playing all that well this season, but a series win against a team as talented and universally loathed as Chicago would be pretty awesome and with a win they'd only be two points out of a playoff spot.

Go Flames, Go!
