Calgary went into Raleigh on a early Sunday afternoon looking to keep the winning on the road going but came up way short.
Didnt take Carolina long to get on the scoresheet in the first and second period. 2:25 and 3:50 respectively, along with another goal in the first, had Carolina out to a 3 goal lead and chased Ramo from the net. After Giordano got the Flames within 2 before the intermission and then Colborne cut it to 1 early in the 3rd. Momentum looked to swing the Flames favour but after a fourth Hurricane goal it seemed like the Flames gave up and just wanted the game to end cause 30 later they made it 5-2.
The Flame that gets my thumbs up is Joe Colborne. Yes it might only be because he had a goal and an assist but he seemed like the only Flame with jump and compete. Not many positives to take away from tonight. Hopefully they can sooner than later right the ship but time is slowly running out.
