This was considered a must win to keep any playoff hopes alive. They came out at the end of the game with a 4-2 win.

Very sloppy first period by both teams but the Flames went into the intermission up 1-0 with a goal by Frolik. Sam Bennett didn’t get a point but he forced the Columbus player to make a mistake which ended up in the back of the net. Bennett added one in the second and also one in the third to continue his hot streak.

What else is there to say about that Johnny Gaudreau goal than wow! He seems to make plays that stop you in your tracks and that goal was just more of the same.

One player that stood out for me other than obviously Bennett and Gaudreau was Bollig (yes you read that right, I said Bollig) had a solid night throwing his weight around and creating some energy. I really liked the play of the bottom two lines, minus Hudler. They all created some energy, but Hudler seems off.

Now it's time to have your say. Give the players your thumbs up or thumbs down for their play in Columbus tonight.
