Wow! What a game!

That was a great effort by the boys to earn a shutout for Karri Ramo. In spite of Jiri Hudler leaving later in the game and Lance Bouma bleeding on the ice near the end of the game, the Flames came on strong and earned a 4-0 win. The third and fourth line grit, which included Mikael Backlund, Josh Jooris, Lance Bouma, and Michael Ferland was something to write home about and Ramo, even though he wasn’t tested as much as I assumed he would be, stood solid with the Avs chances on net.

With a plethora of penalties against the Avalanche and Iggy missing his 600th goal again in spite of his teammates trying to help him out, Colorado wasn’t the team I expected to show up. But it gave Bob Hartley a chance to play around with the lines and see what worked and what didn’t.

So, now it's your turn to have your say in our game day Rate The Flames. Thumbs up for good play, thumbs down for a less than stellar outing.
