Broadcast Schedule |
TV: CBC, RSN, Sportsnet |
Radio: Sportsnet 960 The Fan |
The Calgary Flames make the road trip north for a battle with the Edmonton Oilers. This is game 4 of 5 between the storied rivals and the Flames hold the season series advantage 2-1. These two last played on December 27th with the Flames winning 5-3. Calgary comes into this game looking to grab 2 much needed points and send Edmonton further into the Western basement. The Oilers aren't playing their best hockey as of late, having dropped 4 in a row and sliding further away from the playoffs. The Flames won't have to deal with Connor McDavid tonight as the talented rookie will be sitting out until after the All Star break. The Flames will also be switching out Jiri Hudler for Michael Frolik tonight. Hudler isn't quite where he needs to be health wise and Frolik is ready to return. There's lots of young talent on the ice tonight and the Flames would love for their stars to come up big and defeat the Oilers in their own building. Here's a look at how the teams match-up:
