The Calgary Flames don't care what people think about their involvement in Calgary Pride Parade

1

The evolution in positive thinking towards gay rights in Canada over the last two decades has been nothing short of astounding. The Calgary Flames organization clearly feels as though it's important to help further that cause, getting involved in the Calgary Pride Parade and notifying people of their involvement on Facebook. There were plenty of dissenters on their Facebook post and the organization saw it fit to let them know that they simply don't care about their objections. Many were greeted with something along the lines of the following canned response: "The Flames are proud to be involved in the community in a variety of ways and this weekend is Calgary Pride Parade. Brian Burke is the Grand Marshal of the Parade and Mark Giordano, Mason Raymond, and Matt Stajan are marching. Members of the Hitmen and Roughnecks are also going to be there ~" Upon being called out about the canned response, the account issued the following statement: "When the inquires are the same, the responses we send are the same."
