In what seems to be a particularly long pre-season this year, the Flames have reached game six. They face a Colorado Avalanche side which they (or at least a team bearing their name) defeated 1-0 on Friday night.
Looking at the projected lines, this team will look a lot more like the starting lineup on opening night, if not quite the finished one.

Ones to watch
- Jonas Hiller and Karri Ramo will split the goaltending duties tonight, still fighting to get the starter's jersey come opening night.
- Markus Granlund, Drew Shore and Garnet Hathaway will be looking to impress, and prove they're worthy of a place on the main roster. Paul Byron's also not guaranteed a starting role, so will be making his case as well.
- The top two lines look like they could be set in stone, but again, if someone below them impresses, it may shake up Bob Hartley's plans.
- The defence is not far away from how it will be on opening night, provided Wilson can turn his PTO into a full-time contract.
