It's the first Flames away game since May!

Aaaand we’re back in Edmonton. Tonight, in the second of two games that have to happen at the exact same time for some reason, we have the Calgary Flames playing the Edmonton Oilers at Rexall Place. This Flames lineup isn’t as awesome as the one back home, but there are still some pretty interesting players to watch.

Who? Well, Mikael Backlund is healthy from the get-go this year and ready to live up to his extension, Morgan Klimchuk is finally going pro, and the Flames’ most interesting picks from this past draft – Andrew Mangiapane, Rasmus Andersson, and Oliver Kylington are all present.

So is Ryan Wilson, who will be fighting to earn a contract with the Flames' and make the roster as a sixth defender. There's a whole lot of future here: both short and long-term.

Here are your projected lineups:

Calgary Flames
Left Wing Center Right Wing
Lance Bouma Mikael Backlund David Jones
Morgan Klimchuk Markus Granlund Kenny Agostino
Bryce Van Brabant Turner Elson Austin Carroll
Andrew Mangiapane Derek Grant Garnet Hathaway
Left Defence Right Defence
