Brandon Wheat Kings select Oliver Kylington in CHL Import Draft

+

It seems Oliver Kylington is destined to be a 60th overall pick.

The skilled Swedish defencemen may play in Sweden next season, however, there are teams in North America who could certainly use his services. Hakan Loob, the president of hockey ops on Farjestad, one of the teams Kylington played for last year, said he believes Kylington should be in the AHL.

There's another option now, though, should Kylington end up in junior instead. He'd be joining last year's WHL eastern conference champions, the Brandon Wheat Kings. They're the team with Ivan Provorov, who was drafted seventh overall.

Can you imagine a Provorov-Kylington pairing? That's horrifying at junior. Seems like if the Flames pick makes his way over to North America, he'll be in a good spot, no matter what.
