The Calgary Flames were in the middle of taking over the game after Yannick Weber took out Jonas Hiller. They were already up three to one over the Vancouver Canucks and were headed to the power play. Sam Bennett was back behind the net when Dan Hamhuis took liberties and basically hit him square in the head with his shoulder.

The NHL has made shots to the head a major point of emphasis with the concussion suits going on across multiple leagues. This hit seems like it could be on a training video of how not to follow through with a check. He elevates his shoulder and the principle point of contact is with Bennett's head.
There's an unwritten rule that less discipline goes around during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but if the league is serious about getting these types of hits out of the game then they need to take action. They have to send a message that shows that they care about head trauma. It will be interesting to see just how serious they really are.
