The Calgary Flames hosted the San Jose Sharks in an epic game at the Saddledome that led to a 7th consecutive win at home. The hot home team persevered through injuries to come out victorious and tie the series against the Sharks. Led by Karri Ramo in net, who tallied a save percentage of .939 and saved 31 of 33 shots on net, and with goals by Mikael Backlund, Sean Monahan, Markus Granlund, and Michael Frolik, the Flames looked a lot like the team from last season that fought hard, put pressure on the opposition's net, and worked their way to a playoff spot. Joe Colborne and Mason Raymond both had a faceoff percentage of 100% while Mark Giordano owned the ice for over 28 minutes. The team seems to be coming together quite nicely after a rough start to the season.
So, it's that time again. Let us know what you thought of tonight's players!
