On a more personal note, I think my son was the good luck charm last night for the WHL Brandon Wheat Kings as they visited the Swift Current Broncos and earned a shutout win. My son was the 7th skater for the Broncos during their warm-up skate and Jayce Hawryluk gave my son a shin-tap from behind the bench before the game. Interestingly, Hawryluk notched a hat trick in last night's game to help the Wheat Kings dominate the Broncos 8-0. Hawryluk is a 2nd round pick by the Florida Panters in the 2014 draft.
