Gamethread: Calgary Flames Host Anaheim Ducks

It's duck hunting season!

With Anaheim up 1-0 in this match-up so far because of their 5-3 win on November 24th, the Flames need to win this one to even the score until they meet again on February 15th, 2016. With the wilting Ducks owning a record of 13-15-6, the Flames, being in comeback mode, have a good chance to win tonight’s game at the Saddledome and make it a 12 home win streak.

With Karri Ramo in net, and Brandon Bollig slotting back into the lineup, the home team has a lot of potential. Especially with Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan, and Jiri Hudler teaming up on the front line while Mark Giordano and T.J. Brodie man the blue line of defense. Michael Frolik is still injured while Mason Raymond looks to be the odd man out of tonight’s tilt.

The only real issue I can predict is the Ducks goaltending record of 5-4-2, .923 save percentage and 1.98 GAA that Gibson holds.

Go Flames Go!
