Of interest to Calgary Flames fans are the inclusion of Brandon Hickey and Mason McDonald. Brandon Hickey is a 6'2/190 lb sophomore at Boston University, playing in the most competitive conference in US College Hockey. In 14 games Hickey has 6 pts (4 goals, 2 assists), is a +4 and has 23 blocked shots (he lead the team as a Freshman). Mason McDonald is a 6'4/200 lb goalie playing in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for the Charlottetown Islanders. The big lefty has played in 17 games this season with a record of 7-8-2 and a GAA of 3.45.
Calgary has had some real good showings in the past from their prospects in Juniors and Flames management no doubt would like to see the same type of showings from McDonald and Hickey.
