The Calgary Flames took on the Washington Capitals last night. and won 3-2 in overtime. The Flames stifled Ovechkin's chances to become the highest scoring Russian, the defense worked hard, and the offense was generating a lot of good chances on the Capitals net. Everyone seemed to have stepped up their game last night. Sean Monahan stood out with two goals, Michael Frolik opened the scoring, and Karri Ramo stood on his head in net. It was a good game of hockey in Washington during the Flames four-game road trip.
