Remember when hockey fans around the league were pining for a time when the Battle of Alberta would be meaningful again? Well, the Flames have held up their end of the bargain, improving their team through savvy off-season deals, while the Oilers are currently 0-4 and are counting down to draft day. I guess we'll keeping waiting.
However, not all is well in Calgary. Another disappointing loss for the Flames last night in Winnipeg means that they're only better than Edmonton by two points. This game is going to be treated as a jump-off point for both teams, bringing more excitement to the table than usual.
Tonight's lines are not projected to change from last night's game, except for Jonas Hiller presumably starting. If you haven't already, make sure you check out the preview.
Enjoy tonight's game, and make sure to keep it clean in the comments section. Leave the brutality to the players. Go Flames Go!
