Well that was a rough start. The Flames didn’t have a great debut last time out, faltering 5-1 to the rival Canucks. We’ll call it “rust” and hope for a better result tonight, as the Flames once again take on the Canucks, this time in Vancouver.

How do they plan to beat the Canucks? Interesting question. Bob Hartley has chosen to shake up the lineup, giving Jonas Hiller and Mason Raymond their first starts of the season. Not that much of a step forward, considering that Brandon Bollig is still playing tonight and Josh Jooris is not. Here’s the rest of the lineups:

I'm personally excited for Ferland-Stajan-Jones tonight, and doubly excited because they're starting. Brandon Bollig on the third line, not so much.
