245. David Jones
Jones played three seasons with the Coquitlam Express in the ECHL, scoring 61 goals and 111 assists in 147 contests starting in 2001-02. A 6'2", 210 lb. right winger, he was born in Guelph, Ontario on August 10th, 1984.
The Colorado Avalanche selected Jones with the 288th overall pick in the ninth round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He would join Dartmouth College for 100 games over three seasons. He scored 43 goals and 48 assists while with the Big Green, including a 44 point campaign in his Junior Year, in 2006-07. He was selected as the Ivy League Player of the Year. He turned professional before graduating, forgoing his Senior Year.
In 2007-08, Jones split his season between the AHL’s Lake Erie Monsters (45 games, 14 goals, 16 assists) and the Avalanche (27 games, two goals, four assists). He stayed with Colorado for the next five seasons, totaling 70 markers with 56 assists over 272 games.
Jones was traded with Shane O’Brien to the Flames for Alex Tanguay and Cory Sarich when the 2013 offseason started. He ranked ninth on the Flames with nine goals on 104 shots, also collecting eight assists over 48 games. He finished the season with a plus-1 rating and only 10 penalty minutes. He tallied up four points in his first three games of the season, including a goal and an assist on October 6th in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Vancouver Canucks. He had four multi-point efforts on the season. On February 6th, he broke a 2-2 tie with the New York Islanders with five minutes remaining in an eventual 4-2 victory. Jones will be entering the third season of a four-year, $16 million contract.

244. Jamie Wright
Wright was a 6', 196 lb. left winger from Kitchener, Ontario. Born on May 13th, 1976, he played 185 games over three seasons with the Guelph Storm, scoring 90 goals with 90 helpers starting in 1993-94. The Dallas Stars selected him in the fourth round of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, with the 98th overall pick.
Before signing a free agent contract with Calgary during the 2001 offseason, Wright played with the IHL’s Michigan K-Wings (226 games, 49 goals, 38 assists, 221 PiM), the Stars (57 games, six goals, six assists, 18 PiM), and the IHL’s Utah Grizzlies (74 games, 25 goals, 27 assists, 126 PiM).
In his first season with the Flames organization, Wright split his season between the Saint John Flames (34 games, 11 goals, 13 assists, 34 PiM) and Calgary. He played 44 games for the parent club, averaging 13:44 time-on-ice. He lit the lamp four times on 64 shots, with 12 assists, 20 penalty minutes, and a team fifth ranking plus-6 rating. He scored a goal in his first appearance on October 20th, in a 4-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. On March 13th, he scored twice on six shots in a 3-3 tie with the Florida Panthers, one of three occasions on the season where he tallied multiple points.
In 2002-03, Wright played in 19 games for Calgary over the first half of the season, missing significant time in November and December. He scored two goals on 16 shots with two assists, a plus-1 rating, and 12 penalty minutes in 11:43 per game. On January 22nd, the Flames traded him to the Philadelphia Flyers for "future considerations."
After four scoreless games with the Flyers (his last NHL appearance), Wright played with the Philadelphia Phantoms (33 games, 10 goals, 14 assists), the Toronto/Edmonton Roadrunners (143 games, 38 goals, 45 assists, 187 PiM), Lukko Rauma (Finland, 44 games, 12 goals, 18 assists), Geneve Servette (Switzerland, 40 games, 19 goals, 19 assists), DEG Metro Stars (Germany, 55 games, 19 goals, 29 assists), the Frankfurt Lions (Germany, 61 games, 12 goals, 21 assists), Sierre (Switzerland, 10 games, five goals, 15 assists), and Basel (Switzerland, 45 games, 14 goals, 34 assists). He retired following the 2010-11 season.

243. Joe Colborne
Colborne was born on January 30th, 1990 in Calgary, Alberta. He's a 6'5", 213 lb. center, and a first round selection of the Boston Bruins in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, 16th overall.
Colborne earned the Bruins’ notice while playing in the AJHL with the Camrose Kodiaks. He played two seasons with the club starting in 2006-07, scoring 53 goals and 85 assists in 108 contests. He didn’t turn professional right away, instead joining the University of Denver for two seasons (79 games, 32 goals, 40 assists).
Colborne joined the Providence Bruins for parts of two seasons starting near the end of the 2009-10 season (61 games, 12 goals, 16 assists). Before appearing in the NHL, he was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs for first (Rickard Rakell) and second (Tomas Kaberle) round picks.
While with Toronto’s organization, Colborne spent most of his time with the Toronto Marlies (150 games, 38 goals, 59 assists), playing some limited time with the Maple Leafs (16 games, one goal, five assists). Just before the 2013-14 season started, the Leafs traded him to the Flames for a fourth round pick.
Colborne did not play any time for the Flames feeder system, ranking third on the team with 80 games played. He averaged 14:16 per game, scoring 10 goals (Flames eighth) on 80 shots with 18 assists (Flames eighth). He earned a minus-17 rating and spent 34 minutes in the penalty box. On November 22nd, he scored a goal with an assist in a 4-3 shootout win over the Florida Panthers. From February 6th through March 7th, he scored seven points in seven games culminating in two third period goals, including the game winner in a 4-3 Calgary win over the New York Islanders. He enters the current offseason as a restricted free agent.

242. Alexander Godynyuk
Godynyuk was a sixth round selection of the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft, 115th overall. A 6', 198 lb. defenseman from Kiev, Ukraine, he was born on January 27th, 1970. He played five seasons with Kiev Sokol (97 games, nine goals, seven assists).
After getting drafted, Godynyuk joined the Leafs. After 11 games with the Newmarket Saints (zero goals, one assist, 29 PiM), he joined the Maple Leafs. He scored three goals and nine assists over 49 games for Toronto over parts of two seasons.
On January 2nd, 1992, the Leafs traded Godnynuk with Craig Berube, Gary Leeman, Michel Petit and Jeff Reese to the Flames for Doug Gilmour, Jamie Macoun, Kent Manderville, Ric Nattress and Rick Wamsley. He played 17 games for the Salt Lake Golden Eagles (two goals, one assist, 24 PiM). He earned a single assist in six games for the Flames, in a 5-3 win over the Quebec Nordiques on January 14th. He failed to light the lamp despite 12 shots on goal, earned a minus-2 rating and four penalty minutes.
1992-93 would see Godynyuk play 27 games for Calgary. He scored three times on 35 shots with four assists, a plus-6 rating and 19 penalty minutes. The Florida Panthers selected him after the season in the NHL Expansion Draft.
After 10 assists in 26 contests for Florida, Godynyuk went on to play with the Hartford Whalers (112 games, four goals, 15 assists), the Detroit Vipers (seven games, three assists), the Minnesota Moose (45 games, nine goals, 17 assists), the Springfield Falcons (14 games, one goal, three assists), the Chicago Wolves (50 games, five goals, 11 assists), Bern (Switzerland, 43 games, nine goals, 16 assists), and the Berlin Polar Bears (Germany, 84 games, 11 goals, 25 assists).

241. Bryan Marchment
Marchment, born on May 1st, 1969, was a 6'1", 205 lb. defenseman. A native of Scarborough, Ontario, he was a first round selection of the Winnipeg Jets, 16th overall in the 1987 NHL Entry Draft.
Marchment got his start in the OHL with the Belleville Bulls in 1985-86, playing in a total of four seasons with the club (208 games, 32 goals, 140 assists, 861 PiM). Before starting his career with Calgary, he also played with the Winnipeg Jets (37 games, two goals, four assists, 121 PiM), the Moncton Hawks (AHL, 89 games, six goals, 30 assists, 318 PiM), the Chicago Blackhawks (149 games, 11 goals, 29 assists, 523 PiM), the Hartford Whalers (42 games, three goals, seven assists, 124 PiM), the Edmonton Oilers (216 games, seven goals, 37 assists), the Tampa Bay Lightning (22 games, two goals, four assists, 43 PiM), the San Jose Sharks (334 games, 13 goals, 53 assists, 606 PiM), and the Colorado Avalanche (14 games, zero goals, three assists, 33 PiM).
Marchment joined the Flames as a free agent in October 2005. He scored his only goal for Calgary on March 13th, in a 4-3 win against Colorado. In what would be his last NHL season, he took 16 shots on goal in 37 contests. He averaged 13:07 per game, earned two assists, a team fifth-best plus-8 rating, and a team seventh-most 75 penalty minutes. He currently finds employment as a scout and a part time coach for the Sharks.
