Nothing doing for the Flames tonight, but there's 10 other games on to help you waste your time.
The Bruins start us off by hosting the Washington Capitals in Boston at 7PM. The Caps won 4-2 on Saturday in their first meeting this season and can clinch the season series tonight. Also at 7PM, the Los Angeles Kings visit the Winnipeg Jets as Anze Kopitar looks to continue his post-olympic hot streak. He has five points in his last four games.
Brand new Buffalo goaltender Michal Neuvirth joins the Sabres for a 7:30PM matchup in Tampa Bay to face the Steven Stamkos led Lightning. It's Stamkos' first game back since breaking his shin on November 11th, and Tampa Bay's first game without longtime team captain Martin St. Louis, who was traded to the New York Rangers.
Three games drop the puck at 8PM. The Colorado Avalanche visit the Detroit Red Wings, the Chicago Black Hawks host the Columbus Blue Jackets, and the St. Louis Blues visit the Nashville Predators. The surprising Blue Jackets, winners in 15 of their last 22 games, continue to push for a playoff spot.
At 8:30PM, the Dallas Stars visit Vancouver. Eddie Lack, Vancouver's new number one goaltender, looks to help the Canucks earn just their second win in 12 games.
Thomas Vanek, after starting the season with the Sabres, recently arrived in Montreal after a trade with the New York Islanders, is playing with his third team this season. The Habs visit the Phoenix Coyotes at 9PM.
The Islanders will go to Edmonton to face the Oilers at 9:30PM, and the San Jose Sharks will host the Pittsburgh Penguins at 10:30PM in a possible Stanley Cup preview.
Calgary will host the Islanders tomorrow night in their next action, taking the ice at 9PM. In the meantime, drop us a comment, follow us on Twitter, and "like" us on Facebook.
