Game 16 Preview: Flames Visit Florida

Calgary tries to bounce back against Florida, who recently had a seven-game point streak broken.

This afternoon, the Calgary Flames will visit the Florida Panthers at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida. It's the first of two contests this season between the two clubs, with the rematch occuring back in Calgary on January 9th. The Flames are playing in the fourth game of a five-game road trip. They started out strong, defeating the Montreal Canadiens 6-2 on Sunday and the Washington Capitals, 4-3 in overtime on Tuesday before dropping their last contest, 5-2 to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday night. They'll finish up against the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night before returning home for a five game stand. The Panthers will be opening a three game stand, with matchups against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday and the New York Islanders on Friday.
