GameThread: Calgary Flames at Columbus Blue Jackets

Despite opening their season with a gruelling six game road trip, the Flames are off to a pretty decent 3-2 start. We're in the final stretch now, as the Flames take on the Blue Jackets for their penultimate road trip battle.

Jooris gets his first NHL game, and he's been placed with two good, offensive Flames players who work well together – which is apparently too much to ask for Gaudreau, who, after little ice time and little powerplay time in particular, is a healthy scratch. Bouma draws back in from his injury, replacing a poorly performing Setoguchi. Stajan is as unfree as ever. And, of course, our goalies continue switching it up, which has been awesome to date, so why mess with it, right?

And, as always: fuck Tim Erixon.
