Calgary Flames
Blues Visit Flames: Live Chat
Tonight, the Flames will try and bounce back from a 6-0 defeat at the hands of the Phoenix Coyotes. The Blues have won six in a row.
In tonight’s matchup, the St. Louis Blues will visit the Flames at the Saddledome. Calgary is looking to halt a recent trend where they’ve been shut out four times in their last six games. Meanwhile, the Blues are red-hot, and looking for an easy win tonight. They haven’t always had a lot of success against the Flames, though, and have lost one of their two games versus Calgary this season.
After losing to the Blues back in November, 3-2 in St. Louis, they took the second contest, 4-3 on December 23rd at home. If Calgary can come out of this with a win, it will be due in no small part to tonight’s starting goaltender, Karri Ramo, who has an overtime loss in his only career matchup against the Blues. His opponent tonight, Jaroslav Halak, owns a career 3-5-1 record against Calgary.
