Pre-Season BOA Game Thread #1 (And #2): Flames@Oilers, Oilers@Flames

The Flames take on the Edmonton Oilers in split squad games to open the pre-season.

Dale MacMillan

Well, here we are at last.

Almost five months since the Flames wrapped up the shortened 2012-13 season, and less than three months since the Saddledome was submerged under water up to its 10th row, hockey is back.

Tonight, the Flames take on the Oilers in split squad games, with half the roster playing at the 'Dome while the other half will hit the ice at Rexall.

Here are the expected lines and pairings for tonight's contest(s). The game in Edmonton will be streamed live on the Flames' website at 8 p.m. MT.
