Yet another match-up with another mid-tier team. These are the ones that the Flames have to be winning early in the season. They have had the Preds number over the years and the Preds are off to a bit of a clunky start like the Flames. Most agree the Preds got weaker in the off-season so they are not a team the Flames should be out gunned on.
Jarome Iginla came alive in the last game against the Rangers. Olli Jokinen and Curtis Glencross have continued to play excellent two-way hockey. The Flames seem most vulnerable on their D but the Predators are not a team that should be able to exploit this as easily as some teams.
Should be a good one.
Anticipated Game Style
Low scoring and a cautious game from both teams. I am not expecting end to end rushes here.
One on One
Iginla vs Weber
Jarome has awoken and Weber is one of the best D in the game. How these two battle it out will be one to watch.
