Well, it looks like the Canucks will be icing a fairly pedestrian group (which is odd, so late in the exhibition season). Via Nucks Misconduct:

No Sedins, no Burrows, no Mitchell, No Bieksa.

In contrast, Calgary will be dressing most of their regulars with only a few of the remaining fringe guys sprinkled in. Robert posted the Flames potential lines in the comments thread below and it’s as close to the starting line-up as well we’ve seen from Calgary thus far. I like the looks of all 4 forward lines in terms of players and balance and the defense corps doesn’t look too bad either, even lacking Sarich (perhaps soon to be known primarily as “trade bait”).

If team results mean anything to you at this time of year, it's been a decent training camp for Calgary. With the exception of perhaps the goaltending, all other aspects of the club have looked fairly strong despite a shifting rotation of players. It'd be nice to beat up on the Canucks hopefuls tonight in preparation for the real thing come October first, but it probably doesn't matter much either way.

Have at it.
