After the Flames ended up beating the Blackhawks again on Friday night, many celebrated the win. Others, celebrated Olli Jokinen's ringing endorsement for McDonalds signature burger.

Sure, he wasn't paid for it, but I'm sure that there were, and probably will be, more Big Mac's consumed before hockey beer league games from now on. If McDonald's had any sense, they'd sign Olli up for a promotion contract for the next month. We don't know if Olli will be around for any time after the 27th.

Christmas time in Flames-land

With the holiday break here, free time is abound, and not a moment too soon. The Flames have taken two of the upper echelon teams and given them an "L" on back to back nights. How this happened is beyond me. It also screws up my whole 'Pissing me off for Yakupov' catchphrase.

In order to get into a better mood, I've re-written some songs to help cheer me up. Its kind of like Glee, but the Community (R.I.P.) version. Now, I'm no Ke$ha, but I think they're decent. Send me a tweet (@DownGoesLuongo), or throw a comment down below and share your thoughts.
