New York Islanders at Calgary Flames

The New York Islanders take to the Scotiabank Saddledome as they take on the Calgary Flames. It’s a battle of two of the NHL’s top teams as the Pacific leaders take on the Metropolitan leaders. It’s also Travis Harmonic playing against his old team.

Thomas Greiss is expected to start for the Islanders. Greiss leads the NHL in GSAA at even strength and is a prime reason that the Islanders are where they are. Robin Lehner has been great in his own right and will back up.

Meanwhile the Flames are rolling with Mike Smith. Smith has been bad this year, but has rebounded a bit in recent games. David Rittich is the better goalie and should be starting.
