Calgary Flames at Edmonton Oilers [Game 31]

Published

on

The battle of Alberta as the flames head north to take on the Edmonton Oilers. The Flames are in first place in the Western Conference after taking it to the Nashville Predators by a score of five to two. the Flames saw balanced contributions from the entire team with Oliver Kylington getting his first NHL goal and assists and Alan Quine getting his first goal as a Flame in his first game as a Flame.

One would think that this one would be easy pickign given the roll the Flames have been on and the position the Oilers are in, but the Flames are traveling with no rest and the Oilers haven’t played since Friday. These types of games heavily favour the home team in this situation. With that being said, the Flames offense has been torrid hot and the Oilers are still the Oilers.

Lineups have yet to be announced and we don’t know who the starting goalie will be. We would assume it’s David Rittich and Anthony Peluso may be in somewhere, but really they shouldn’t make changes after the success they’ve had. Puck drop is at 7:00 P.M. M.S.T.
