Calgary Flames NCAA Prospect Update: Tournament time and the Flames’ Brandon Hickey and Adam Fox are involved.

The NCAA Men’s 2017 Ice Hockey Frozen Four Tournament is underway and the Flames have 2 players participating. BU Junior Brandon Hickey (D) and Harvard University freshman Adam Fox (D) are helping their respective schools move on to the next round.

-BU 4 North Dakota 3 (2 OT)

Brandon Hickey and BU advanced by downing North Dakota 4-3 in a thrilling double OT first round round match-up. Hickey didn’t log a goal or assist, but as a defensive prospect, his next stat in stupid impressive. Hickey blocked 17, 17! shots in the contest for the BU Terriers.

Freshman juggernaut Adam Fox and the Harvard Crimson easily took their first round match-up against the Providence College Friars 3-0. Adam Fox had a goal and an assist in the contest setting Harvard up for a showdown with Air Force in the next round.
