Mason Raymond Placed On Waivers

The Flames have placed the struggling forward on waivers this afternoon.

According the NHL on NBC’s Twitter account, the Calgary Flames have placed Mason Raymond on waivers this afternoon:

The Flames were looking at paying Raymond $3.15 million next season. The move to waivers with a buyout will save the team $1.05 million.

Raymond struggled last season playing in 29 games and registering only 5 points.

This is probably just the first of many moved the Flames will make in the coming days.
