Who Is Glen Gulutzan?

This afternoon the Calgary Flames introduced Glen Gulutzan as their newest head coach. He will be the 16th coach in franchise history to occupy the bench.

Now that the Flames have a new coach, you may be asking yourself: Who is Glen Gulutzan? Here's look at what he's done and where he's been:

Playing Career

-From 1986-1992 Gulutzan played in the Western Hockey League for the Moose Jaw Warriors, Brandon Wheat Kings and Saskatoon Blades.

-In 1996 he played for the Fresno Falcons of the West Coast Hockey League.

-Had short stints in the IHL with Utah and Las Vegas

-Played in Finland in 1998

-Closed out his playing career in Fresno where he won a championship in 2002
