For weeks, the fanbase has been wondering how the Flames would deal with having too many players on the active roster. The decision has finally been made.

According to Sportsnet on twitter, Mason Raymond has been placed on waivers by the Calgary Flames.

This season, Raymond has been less than great in his attempts to remain part of the active roster. In his last five games, Raymond has 1 goal. Throughout the season, he's earned a meager 4 goals and 1 assist with a -3 rating.
