The Flames continue their East Coast trek in Raleigh NC with a date with the Carolina Hurricanes. This is the first of two between these teams this season. Calgary comes into this contest 2-7 vs the East, but the ‘Canes have dropped 3 of their last 5. The Flames are an abysmal 7-14 on the road, while the Hurricanes find themselves 11-12 at PNC Arena this season. The advantage appears to favor Carolina, but the Flames hope to ride the hot stick of Sam Bennett to their second straight win. The Flames have only won twice in Carolina since they left Hartford, but the good news for the Flames is Karri Ramo is a career 3-1 record against the Hurricanes.
