Ryan Lomberg was recalled to Stockton from the ECHL as well as Kent Simpson. Lomberg, the 20 year old left wing, was signed to an AHL contract in September 2015. Simpson, 23 year old goalie from Edmonton, Alberta, previously played for the Everett Silvertips in the WHL where he held a save percentage of .909 in his last season with the club.

With Simpson being recalled, it’s expected that Karri Ramo will return to the NHL level to replace Jonas Hiller, who was hurt in last night’s game against the Ottawa Senators when he was crashed into the net by Bobby Ryan.
