Good morning and Happy St. Patrick’s Day. No Flames for you today, but there’s enough going on for the die-hard NHL fan to grab some happiness.

For starters, the Boston Bruins will host the Minnesota Wild at 5:30. Boston has won eight games in a row, and ex-Flame Jarome Iginla has scored 10 goals and 14 assists in his last 18 games. Believe it or not, the Bruins have never defeated the Wild at TD Garden.

Also at 5:30, the Tampa Bay Lightning will try and capitalize on the tired Vancouver Canucks, who are on the second game of a back-to-back. Hopefully, the Panthers softened them up nice and good for Stamkos and Company with a 4-3 shootout decision (Panthers loss) last night.

TJ Oshie, Ryan Miller and the rest of the St. Louis Blues welcome the Winnipeg Jets to the great archway for a 6PM tilt. St. Louis is 19-0-2 against Central Division teams.

In the nightcap at 8:30, the Phoenix Coyotes pay a visit to the City of Angels to take on the Kings. The Coyotes are tied with the Dallas Stars for the eighth and final position in the Western Conference playoff tree, with 75 points each. The Kings are nearly a lock for the sixth seed.

Tomorrow, the Flames take on the Buffalo Sabres in Calgary at 7PM. Wanna talk Hockey….or anything else? Leave some comments below.
