Nine games fill the bill in today's NHL.

In the opener at 1030, the Flyers visit the Pittsburgh Penguins in what is always a Pennsylvania blood feud. Philadelphia leads the series this season two-games-to-one, with the finale slated for April 12th.

At 1PM, the Canucks visit recently departed goaltender Roberto Luongo in Florida to face the Panthers in Sunrise. Also at 1, the Edmonton Oilers visit the Carolina Hurricanes and the Capitals host the Toronto Maple Leafs in Washington DC. For the Leafs, Phil Kessel has 73 points, while Alex Ovechkin has his radar set on 50 (or 60) goals this season. He currently sits at 45.

2PM will see the New York Rangers visiting the Sharks in San Jose. The Colorado Avalanche will play the Ottawa Senators at 3PM.

Later on, the Canadiens head across the falls to face the Sabres in Buffalo, the Chicago BlackHawks host the Detroit Red Wings in an “Original Six” tilt, and the Jets try to spoil the Dallas Stars playoff chances at the MTS Center in Winnipeg.

In other sports, the NCAA will select 68 teams for the Championship Tournament, the Food City 500 will kick off in Bristol, TN, nine games will tip off in the NBA, and 18 spring training games will be played in Florida and Arizona.
