Why Was the Flames Management Watching Modern Family During a Game?

There are a lot of very important questions circling the Flames these days: why are the Flames so bad? What is the future of the franchise? Should the Flames trade Jarome Iginla and Miikka Kiprusoff?

At the end of the day, however, it comes down to one thing: why the hell is Flames management watching Modern Family during the middle of a game?

This image, which was brought to us courtesy of commenter JZarris last night in the gamethread shows various members of the Hockey Operations department of the Flames with Modern Family on in the background. None of them are blatantly staring at the TV, but if they weren't watching it at all, why was it even on?

Of course, the logical assumption is Craig Conroy and Jay Feaster just love the dulcet tones of Claire Dunphy’s voice, but the question remains. When your team is on the ice- you should be paying 100% attention to them or other aspects of hockey. A hilarious TV show is not going to help with that.

That said, at least it wasn't The Big Bang Theory.
