Around SBN: Bill Stewart Dead From Apparent Heart Attack

Trade Deadline Live Chat

Let's hope our collective reactions to the moves today don't mirror those of one Mr. Darryl Sutter 757 days ago.

In all likelihood, today will be quiet-both in Calgary and around the rest of the league. Maybe a couple "big" deals but the reported asking price of many players and lack of movable goods will put a damper on the day.

My prediction: Tim Jackman gets moved for a pick. Otherwise, Feaster stands pat.

My dream move today is Babchuk for something, anything…

Consider contributing to Wiki if you can. It has come a long way since its inception in quality and its founders have resisted attempts to commercialize it. Lets keep it alive with a few dollars each.

I just hope some GM got stoned and is excitedly telling Feaster that his potential Norris winning defenseman and good prospect are available for a bunch of role players because he’s not having a great season and his contract is slightly large. Is Sutter GM in LA yet? :D

I think it's more likely

that Feaster and the rest of the ‘brain trust’ can turn their own hash tag of #whatajoke a self-fulfilling prophecy and a drinking game.

Meh, I figured nothing much would happen today and unless something goes down in the next 5 minutes or so that looks to be the case. Really more then anything I just want Butter gone and to be rid of the bad dollars on the cap. Both of which have a decent probability of happening in the offseason.

I’m a firm believer that going nuclear (one way or the other) on deadline day hardly ever pays off in any significant way..

I guess no ex-flames were available to trade for.
