June 27th, 2009- Flames acquire RFA rights of Jay Bouwmeester (signed for 6.6m/5years) from Florida for the RFA rights to Jordan Leopold and a 3rd (Josh Birkholz).
January 31st, 2010- Flames acquire Matt Stajan, Niklas Hagman, Jamal Mayers, Ian White from Toronto for Dion Phaneuf, Fredrik Sjostrom, and Keith Aulie.
February 2nd- Flames acquire Ales Kotalik and Christopher Higgins from New York Rangers for Olli Jokinen and Brandon Prust.
March 3rd- Flames acquire Vesa Toskala from Anaheim for Curtis McElhinney.
March 3rd- Flames acquire Steve Staios from Edmonton for Aaron Johnson and a 3rd (Travis Ewanyk).
June 26th- Flames acquire Henrik Karlsson from San Jose for a 6th (Colin Blackwell).
November 17th- Flames acquire Anton Babchuk, Tom Kostopoulos from Carolina for Ian White (later traded to San Jose for a 2nd) and Brett Sutter.
June 1st, 2011- Flames acquire the rights to Roman Horak and two 2nd's (2010-Markus Granlund) from New York Rangers for rights to Tim Erixon.
June 25th, 2011- Flames acquire Chris Butler and Paul Byron from Buffalo for Robyn Regehr, Ales Kotalik and a 2nd.

A niggling point perhaps but you don’t get Kosto straight across for Brett Sutter; so White helped gain that asset. Still not much I know.
At least the Karlsson deal looks like a win, may be the only one I could really feel comfortable calling that. If Babchuk is re-signed and plays better than last year, than that one could be one too.
