Craig Conroy Expected To Announce Retirement at 12:30MT Press Conference

The Flames have called a press conference for this afternoon where Craig Conroy is expected to retire after being place on waivers last week and being given time to weigh his options. There are rumours that he will take a job within the organization, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet. Watch live on the Flames website or listen on the Fan 960.

Special Assistant to the Acting General Manager? That’s totally a job they made up to keep Conroy with the Flames. Not against, necessarily – I love Conroy as much as the next girl – but I couldn’t help but laugh at that.
