CALGARY AB - FEBRUARY 20: Rene Bourque #17 of the Calgary Flames scores a power play goal at 8:09 of the first period against the Montreal Canadiens during the 2011 NHL Heritage Classic Game at McMahon Stadium on February 20 2011 in Calgary Alberta Canada. (Photo by Andre Ringuette/Getty Images)

Despite the Canadiens doubling up on the Flames in shots on goal in the middle frame, the Flames find themselves up by three goals thanks to goals by Anton Babchuk (shorthanded) and Rene Bourque. After dominating the first, the Habs delivered a significant push back in the second period, and came close to tying the game on several occasions. Much like the Dallas game, the Flames took advantage of their chances when they got them, as Montreal began to play a more risky style of game while pressing for the equalizer.

With just twenty minutes remaining in the 2011 Heritage Classic, the Flames will have to keep this one close to the vest in the final frame, as the last contest between these two games proved what can happen when they exchange chances.
