Sad, Depressing, Missed opportunity are the three words that come to mind.

I love Darryl he’s was a great player and a great coach but has made many questionable mistakes that have caused the downfall.

But in his defense this team drastically underachieved.

David Moss regressed, Iginla down year, Dion Phaneuf still didn’t live up to expectations. The team couldn’t squeak out the close games – 44 Times the were involved in 1 goal games.

Couldn’t agree more. In many ways, the Flames had a team that looked great on paper but just didn’t live up to any of the hype. It’s been a pretty depressing year for sure.
