Gee, sure would have been nice to have not traded Dustin Boyd for magic beans or lost Jaime Lundmark on waivers... guess it was more important to pay McG to eat popcorn. I'm mostly annoyed that D. Sutter is probably patting himself on the back for keeping Backlund up and saving himself a recall.

That being said if I were to pick one Sutter to survive a hypothetical Sutter purge it'd be Brett.

Calgary, AB – Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today that forward Brett Sutter has been recalled from the Abbotsford Heat of the American Hockey League.
 
Sutter, a native of Viking, Alberta, has accumulated 24 points in 66 games this season netting nine goals and 15 assists along with 69 penalty minutes. Brett is currently playing in his third professional season, all with the Calgary Flames AHL main affiliate. Sutter played in four games with the Calgary Flames last season scoring his first career NHL goal.
