"That was probably our biggest loss last year," said centre Craig Conroy. "I know everyone was focused on losing Regehr, losing different guys but when we lost Mark Giordano — I think he’s that good.

"Giordano is key to me. He moves the puck well. He skates well. He’s in great shape and he thinks the game well. As a forward, you like to be out there on the ice when he’s out there because he makes it easier for you. This year, I’m looking forward to him having a huge season."
